The Pall rings are developed to fill the working volumes of the packed columns and devices to increase the intensity of the heat- and mass-exchange processes in the equipment of the chemical, petrochemical, oil-refining and other branches of industry, sewage and water supply systems, ammonia and mineral fertilizers production..

The Pall rings are irregular nozzles. The acid-resistant ceramic Pall rings are developed to fill the packed columns of the other heat- and mass-exchange equipment working at the temperature from 0 up to 120˚C for the acidic media.

In comparison with the Raschig rings the Pall rings have a better carrying capacity and lower hydraulic resistance, better separation efficiency and wetting degree thanks to the perforated construction. The expanded construction of the nozzle makes easier the uniform loading and decreases the pressure losses. The nozzles made of the polypropylene and metal allow to get the high gas velocity with a very high level of the mass-exchange.

The used materials: metal, polypropylene and ceramics.

  • The absorbers and steaming columns of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide;
  • The extractors for the liquids;
  • The carbon oxide convectors;
  • The columns for the dimethyl terephthalate running;
  • The devices for the production of the technical ammonia;
  • The devices for the petrochemical and medical industry.
